Additionally while still a child, his uncle drove him to the study of their families' regional arts; Pizzica Pugliese (wrongly known as sword dance/danza delle spade), and scherma di coltello Gitana e Barabba Piemontesi. With his passion for Italian culture, passed on to him by Count Clement Lajolo Cossano, during a period of 15 years he studied the traditional Italian martial arts from various regions throughout Italy.
